This is the large castle nut which secures the Mini disc and drive flange to the cv joint - GCV1013.
Fits all Minis with 7.5" or 8.7" front disc brakes. Drum brake Minis and Cooper 997/998 disc brake assemblies use a smaller nut, 21A79.
When replacing this nut it is also recommended to renew the split collar that sits behind it, FAM9270.
