The Blockley 165/70 R 10 is a modern designed, wider sized, steel belted tyre built using brand-new moulds and tooling.
Produced for earlier Classic Minis on 10" wheels it offers both great looks & performance.
The 165/70R10 size is a wider version of the standard 145 R10 Blockley Tyre.
100% standard road legal tyre, this tyre has also been proved in Competition use too – The Ultimate Road Rally tyre - with Team Mini Sport’s Steve Entwistle & Mark Appleton winning the 2019 RAC Rally of the Tests, in Paddy Hopkirk’s 6 EMO! Winning by a good margin, the crew faced a variety of weather conditions, including rain, sleet, snow and ice, along with a little bit of dry weather.
Although produced as a tubeless construction, many cars that fit this tyre with original wheels do not have the bead safety ridges of a tubeless rim and as such should be fitted with tubes. Blockley have manufactured a better quality thicker Butyl 165/70x10 inner tube to suit for those that require them.
