This style of seat cover was originally designed for the Mk3 'Mini 850' saloon models, introduced for the 1970 model year as the new base model Mini, underneath the 'Mini 1000' and Clubman models.
The seat faces feature a very simple design of pairs of plain lines formed into the seat faces with a high frequency welding tool. These lines run down the length of the car. This covering kit includes both sections of the rear seat.
