"After starting from Minsk in Russia with co-driver Henry Liddon in temperatures as low as minus 38, Paddy Hopkirk excelled once onto the narrow, twisty and snowy mountain passes. Paddy brought "33 EJB" home in a glorious first place and had produced one of the Minis greatest victories on a gruelling event and surely the most celebrated of all time."
