45D4 LUCAS type distributor is fitted with the original points ignition system and comes with a vacuum advance unit.

The Lucas 45D4 distributor was fitted to these Mini models from 1974 to 1981:

Mini 1275GT, Mini 1275cc 1978 on - Lucas number 41768

Electronic upgrade kits are available for your existing distributor, which allows for removal of the points system, giving better reliability and a more consistent spark.
