Mini MPI models were fitted with an internal bonnet release cable, to allow the bonnet to be opened from inside your Mini instead of the lever in the front grille.
This is a replacement bonnet lock for this internal release mechanism.
Full kit is available, please see FSE10020KIT which can be use on any Mini model not just the MPI
