Restore authentic steering performance to your classic Mini with this Genuine Rover Right-Hand Steering Arm (BTA897) — supplied from original new old stock purchased directly from the Rover factory when Mini production ceased in 2000.
This genuine component was fitted to all Mini Mk2 and later models, excluding the Cooper S and 1275GT, which used a thicker, uprated steering arm. Manufactured to precise Rover standards, this part ensures accurate steering geometry, durability, and a perfect factory fit — essential for any original or concours restoration.
If you’re upgrading from an early Mk1 steering rack, note that Mk1 arms differ in both length and angle. To maintain correct geometry with a later rack, you’ll need to replace the original arms with these Mk2-on versions.
