The master cylinder and engine steady bar mounting plate for pre 1976 single line brake system Minis. This bracket fits to the front bulkhead crossmember and forms the top part of the engine steady bar mounting bracket.
For Minis from 1976-89 fitted with the dual line brake system the correct bracket is ALA6505 and for 1989 on models with a brake servo it is CRC8664.
The lower part of the engine stabiliser bracket is welded to the front bulkhead. A replacement for this is available as 14A6730.
