There were several differental seat designs in the early stages of Mini production in 1959. This particular style has a sewn fluted centre section in the Grey Fleck material with a contrasting colour to the rest of the seat. The rear of the squab cover is in Grey Fleck material.
This seat kit will fit the early seat frame. We would suggest that you order all the internal strap kit and seat paddings to make this kit come alive! This kit contains both the front seat base and squab covers.
Morris seats changed around mid November (approx chassis 8500) from black / fleck to red or blue / fleck and the flute pattern changed to a uniform pattern similar to the Austin ones but with a wider flute. The back of the front seats still done in fleck.
