When fitting a new steering rack, it's a good idea to order additional fittings to simplify the installation process. Check out our selection of accessories, including track rod ends (GSJ734), foam rings (21A30) to fit between the steering rack and body, 'U' bolts (2A6208), nylon anti-friction strips (21A2553) for the 'U' bolts, and Nyloc nuts (GFK3322) to secure the 'U' bolts.

Please note that if you're replacing the original steering rack on a MK1 Mini, it's necessary to also install new steering arms. The arm and rack setup was different on pre-1967 Minis, so make sure to choose the appropriate components for a proper fit.
