Our Story

Jet Motors owner Jeremy Thorpe has been in love with Minis for as long as he can remember. What began as a childhood fascination with those ‘speedy little cars from The Italian Job’ slowly shifted gears into an authentic desire to get under the bonnet and learn what makes the Mini so uniquely addictive. With the help of Paul Schultz and the rest of the crew, the Jet Motors name accelerated to the place it holds today as one of the premier Mini service and sales shops in the world, assisting customers from as far away as Europe, Japan, and even Australia.

Our Customer

Similar to the car they love, Mini owners and enthusiasts range in make, model, and age. At Jet Motors we service them all, from the veteran, grease-monkey Miniacs to the inexperienced newbs. It is our desire to make every Mini that comes into our garage road-worthy and not just a trailer queen destined for a life in park. What every Classic Mini owner knows is that these are temperamental machines. They require care from both driver and mechanic and it is our mission to make sure whether you’re in the market for a Mini or routine service, that both you and your car leave our shop happy.

Our Car

Whether it’s a Classic, Countryman or Moke, a Traveler, Hornet or Pickup, whether you’re racing in Monte Carlo, Watkins Glen or Turin, or crossing the US on Route 66 from the Tail of the Dragon to Pacific Coast Highway, Jet Motors is the Mini service and sales shop ready to go along for the ride. And while our garage is always open we make an effort to be your Mini Roadside Assistant as well. Many is the time we’ve loaded up our tools to lend a hand to a Mini in need or helped a customer over the phone as they troubleshoot a Mini mess from afar. In short, we know the Mini, we love the Mini and if you wait too long to pick yours up after service, we’ll gladly put a few more miles on the odometer until you return.

When we lifted the garage door on Jet Motors for the first time we were focused on being the best Mini service shop in the world. Gradually over time that commitment to the Mini organically shifted to an opportunity to help customers find and purchase the Mini model of their dreams. Service

In a sense Jet Motors began long before the business even opened. It started when Jeremy Thorpe first popped the bonnet on his Classic and set about servicing the car that would define his future.
